The Rouge Gandoura is a striking centrepiece of our Spring/Summer 2025 line - a garment steeped in the raw beauty of Morocco’s landscapes. Dyed in a deep, earthen red, it channels the hues of iron-rich cliffs, desert bloom, and the ember-lit dusk of North Africa.
This piece is not ornamental but rather elemental - rooted in soil, sun, and spirit.
The Qur’an references the palette in Surah Fatir (35:27), describing mountains “white and red of varying shades”. Inspired by such verses, the Rouge Gandoura is coloured through a traditional dye process using natural pigments, yielding tones that are both rich and unrepeatable.
A light yet structured weave is tailored for ease and elegance in warm weather. The slight nuance in texture and form reflect the human touch—each thread a testament to patience and reverence. With discreet embroidery echoing natural forms, the Rouge Gandoura is not merely worn—it is inhabited, carrying with it the quiet grandeur of nature and spirit alike.
